We’re in Thailand!

We’ve officially been in Thailand for a week now! On the one hand it seems like we’ve been here forever, but on the other it feels like we just got here. The last few months in the States were a whirlwind and it is still hard to believe at times that we are actually in Thailand!

We are currently staying with our friends Brandon and Aum as we continue to set up our new house (which is a 4 minute walk away). We have had a great introduction to Mae Sai and what all our team is involved with here. Yesterday Bruno, May and their family went back to Brazil so that Bruno could have knee surgery. He completely tore his ACL playing football (soccer) and has been in a lot of pain. We are sad to see them go, but know that God has something great for them in Brazil (not to mention they will be there for the World Cup!). Tomorrow our other teammate Nirut gets back in town, so as one part of our team leaves another arrives. It is crazy to think that we won’t all be together until August!

We will have to write soon to update you on Kids Club with the Loy kids and my teaching dance at a Bible college!
