Christmas and the New Year

For Christmas this year we decided to throw a big family party for all of our Loy friends! We had only done one other Family Night (back in October 2014) and thought that Christmas was the perfect time to invite all the families of the kids who come to Kids Club every Saturday.

As is the case anytime we get together and celebrate with our Loy friends, it was so much fun! They all loved seeing pictures and videos from this past year of Kids Club activities and Summer Camps. We had carnival like games with small prizes as well as different raffle items won throughout the night. We all ate together, the kids sang, and then we had a pastor friend come and share about what Christmas is all about. It was such a great message as he laid out our need of a Savior and shared the Gospel beautifully. It was great!

Angela and I have the opportunity to go to Bangkok with our friends Nirut and Karen to be a part of a conference with Heidi Baker and Bill Johnson! We are both so excited for this as both of their ministries have been so influential in our lives. The day we return to Mae Sai our Discipleship Training School (DTS) and School of Ministry Development (SOMD) begin! I will be helping co-lead both schools, but also will be a student in the SOMD. We will be spending two months here in Mae Sai and then traveling to Cambodia in late February to join with other schools throughout Southeast Asia.

Please be praying for us during these upcoming schools as Angela is learning in the DTS and I am learning in the SOMD. The first half of this year will be full, but we are so excited about all that God is going to do.

We pray you have a joy filled New Year!
