Hi, we’re Stephen and Angela and here’s a little about us!

We became closer as the years went by and even went to prom together Angela’s senior year. (no we will not be posting those pictures!) We then went our separate ways as we went off to college, but always remained good friends. It wasn’t until 2008 when I (Stephen) fully gave my life to the Lord and transferred universities, that we became really close friends. Those few years together at university, the two of us ate lunch together almost every day and grew to be very close as friends.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Angela and I both felt a call to foreign missions separately during our time at university. Angela finished up her degree while I did a 5 month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). The outreach for my DTS was to Thailand and another country in Asia. After DTS I then went on staff with YWAM Thailand for 8 months serving with a college ministry in Bangkok. When I returned from my time serving in Thailand, it was then Angela’s turn to head out of the country. Our overlap in the US was only a few weeks before Angela left for Brazil for 1 year. Looking back on the past 6 years, it is evident how the Lord was leading us along similar paths but in His own unique way.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]I continued my degree while Angela served with a local church in Brazil. Angela returned home in the summer of 2012. I took the first chance I had and asked Angela out on a date! After 3 months of dating, Angela left for Mozambique and then Thailand! It is amazing that Angela felt the Lord lead her to go to Thailand before we were dating and before she even liked me. I love that the Lord called both of us separately and then brought our callings together.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”77″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]
A few months after Angela arrived back in the States we got engaged and then married later that year! Since being married we have served in Thailand for a number of years and now are serving in Montana as missionary Bible teachers.
