08 Jun Brandon and Aum Visit

We were so happy to have our friends Brandon and Aum visit us in Chattanooga last month! I met and worked with Brandon and Aum in Bangkok when I first visited Thailand in 2010. They currently live in Mae Sai, Thailand, where I spent this past summer living with them and working with them and their new ministry. Angela and I both feel like God is directing us to work with them once we move to Thailand. Right now their ministry consists of just them and a Brazilian couple! (How crazy is that!? God placed Brazilian missionaries in Mae Sai, Thailand and then called us there! – Angela lived in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese! They just so happen to need a translator for Portuguese to English!) God sets things up way better than we ever could!

It was so good to spend a few days with Brandon and Aum to talk about the future and just dream with them about what God is going to do in Mae Sai. (Be on the lookout in the future for a blog post about Mae Sai and its people)

Below is a video a YWAM team from Germany made for Brandon about a year ago. You can see a little of what Mae Sai looks like and get a sense of the people. Please be praying for the new ministry of YWAM Borders and our future involvement. We’re excited about helping pioneer this new ministry on the border!

    wow. i love this place!!

    that is so awesome about the Brazilian couple who need a translator. God is… he leaves me speechless!! i can’t think of a word that is adequate enough to describe Him right now!!!
